Last night, of course was the premiere of Ru‘s new E! reality show, Good Work – think Fashion Police but with PLASTIC SURGERY. Each week, Ru and his fellow co-hosts Dr Terry Dubrow and Sandra Vergara discuss extreme beauty routines, celebrity secrets, and any procedure you could ever imagine. “Good Work is not going to be a mean show. We want to celebrate everything that goes into making people look Hollywood gorgeous—and discuss openly what everybody is already whispering about,” explained a clearly energized RuPaul.
Here are the top five moments you might have missed last night:
1) RuPaul says right off the bat that if the show is a success he will get a facelift LIVE on TV if the show is a hit. (Hmmm. That’s a great way to get plastic surgery for free! NEXT TRANSFORMATION: James’ moob job!).
2) This whole “leech blood mask” fad is TOO MUCH. The treatment consists of leeches…. LEECHES… sucking blood from you. Then the blood gets squeezed back out from them (which mixes it with their mucus), which you then spread all over your face. It was all I could do to keep from GAGGING. (And NOT on the eleganza) YUCK! YUCK! YUCK!.
3) Ru on Pamela Anderson‘s recent boob reduction: “Pam went from super-huge to just plain big, kind of like when she went from Tommy Lee to Rick Solomon.” HA!
4) Tiffany “New York” Pollard came on, looking like a million bucks (wearing a dress with a slit up to HERE). While talking to Dr Dubrow, she got a little misty, saying what a great job he’d done fixing her plastic surgery mistakes. “I’m sorry,” she said, “my nose is running because it’s new.” HA!
5) Dr. Terry gets pokey. At the end of the show, the conversation turned to Botox. Dr Terry admitted that he does his own face, and sure enough, he whipped out a syringe and went to town, poking himself here and there and hither and yon. On the forehead, the neck (“where it paralyzes the whole muscle and give me the look of a facelift”)… and the tip of the nose. Yeah. “You can put it in a muscle at the base of the nose which is INCREDIBLY PAINFUL”
BONUS: Brandi Glanville fucked Gerard Butler! Who knew? During a game of “Tap it or Tweak it” the Real Housewife revealed she had already tapped the 300 star. “Been there, done that” as the audience about fell out of their seats. You go, girl.
