John Alasdair Macdonald, a tour guide in the Scottish Highlands, caught this amazing meteor pic last week. Macdonald took his camera outside to capture some photographs of the stars on what he described as a “beautiful night” and as he snapped away, the meteor soared right into his vision. He told The Independent:
“As my wife said, it was just sheer dumb luck. It was a complete fluke, an absolute fluke”.
Macdonald posted the image of the meteor over Loch Ness, on the Facebook page of his tour website, The Hebridean Explorer, where it quickly attracted a massive attention. (It’s where I first saw it.)
Asked if he would purse photography professionally now, Macdonald said:
“I think that’s as good as I’m going to get!”
