In the 70s, Irwin Allen started the genre with Airport and Hollywood has been cranking out disaster porn ever since. This new trailer is scary to me like the idea of Jaws was – it COULD happen, and probably will happen. After the San Andreas Fault finally gives, triggering a magnitude 9 earthquake in California, a search and rescue helicopter pilot (Dwayne Johnson) and his estranged wife (Carla Gugino) make their way together from L.A. to San Francisco… and by the final shot of this trailer, a little pee might come out. Watch.
